Double Lake

Double Lake Recreation Area

     Again a Bicycle Friendly and family friendly park.  I have only been in the winter time, but the toys are out from summer activities.  There are paddle boat and canoe rentals, swimming, fishing, hiking and CYCLING for beginners.  I enjoyed the hike around the lake.  Beaver activity was evident.  This is a beautiful park.  Campsites are private.  

Directions from Beaumont:  Take 105 west 59 north and follow the signs.
About two hours from Beaumont.
